WHAT IS ALT WORLD?
ALT WORLD is an alternative fashion week initiative showcasing brands and creatives originating from the diaspora all over the world. We aim to provide presentations\runway shows and workshops tailored to empowering the upcoming creative scene as well as celebrating raw talented designers who may not have access.
Our mantra ‘Making Exclusive inclusive' is super important as historically we have observed an unhealthy hierarchy within the fashion and creative industry. We aim to be the leaders of change in bridging the gap between the alternative and mainstream fashion and creative scene specifically within London and Africa by curating and designing fashion centred events for Gen-z and millennial creatives.
